These terms govern your use of Clairescans, including the website, beta builds, and app. By using Clairescans, you agree to these terms.

The service

Clairescans is a product-label explanation and comparison tool. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a guarantee of a skin or health result. Verify labels, allergens, and suitability with the package and a qualified professional when appropriate.

Beta

TestFlight access is free, optional, may change, and may end. A purchase is never required to receive a beta invitation. Beta features and data may be reset.

Founder access

There is no website founder payment. Early access is free TestFlight. A purchase is never required for a beta invite.

Subscriptions

iOS Premium is sold only through the App Store as an auto-renewing subscription. US prices: $15.99 per month (3-day free trial), $41.99 per 3 months (3-day free trial), or $99.99 per year (1-week free trial). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Lifetime is not offered on this version. Apple handles App Store subscriptions. There is no website charge for iOS Premium.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. You may request deletion through the app or by contacting us. We may suspend access to protect users, the service, or payment systems.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the scan service, bypass limits, scrape protected data, upload unlawful content, attempt to access another account, or use Claire’s output to make urgent medical or safety decisions.

Product links

Clairescans may link to product pages. Links do not change the label analysis. Any affiliate relationship will be disclosed next to the relevant recommendation. Retailer availability, price, shipping, and product formulation can change.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided as available, without a promise that every scan, label, recommendation, or retailer link is complete or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, Clairescans is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service.
